WPHY 70 Fittings are used in high temperature, high pressure services that need good corrosion resistance and strength. The minimum yield strength of the material is indicated in ksi in the name of it. ASTM A860 WPHY 70 Fittings have 70ksi minimum yield strength so that they could be used in power plant, heat exchanger and sea water and marine applications because of the high strength and high corrosion resistance. This makes the MSS SP75 WPHY 70 fittings to have the high mechanical properties. The material has 485MPa minimum yield strength and 570MPa minimum tensile strength.
